MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company has introduced a new service named "Clanga," connecting King Abdul Aziz Port in Dammam with key ports in Singapore and China through weekly voyages.
This new service strengthens trade links between Saudi Arabia and the Far East. It is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the competitiveness of Saudi ports and support the country's export growth, aligning with the National Transport Strategy. This strategy aims to position Saudi Arabia as a major global logistics hub linking three continents.
The Clanga service will directly connect King Abdul Aziz Port in Dammam with ports in Singapore and the Chinese cities of Ningbo, Shanghai, and Shekou. The weekly sailings will accommodate up to 15,000 standard containers, ensuring a smooth and efficient trade route between these regions.
